Missourians for Equality is a non-partisan Political Action Committee with a goal of eliminating LGBT discrimination in the state of Missouri. Several PFLAG-KC members will be in attendance at their kickoff event at Hamburger Mary's from 3-5 PM on Saturday, January 19th and one member will share her story at 3:30. Missourians for Equality is currently working on collecting enough signatures by May 2014 to get a proposal on the November 2014 ballot that would expand the definition of discrimination to include sexual orientation and gender identity.
